The AVM heavy-duty hubs have been designed for additional strength using a heat-treated carbon steel drive ring instead of the standard cast steel ring fitted in the standard AVM hubs. The heavy-duty hubs are ideal for vehicles fitted with front diff locks prone to breaking the standard cast ring AVM hubs. AVM’s heavy-duty hubs have been designed to strengthen this weak point in the drive line when diff locks are used. Be aware of the eBay fakes – Genuine hubs have an aluminium outer body, while the fake hubs have a very shiny (chrome appearance) plastic outer body.
