The new BP-51 range of high performance, bypass shock absorbers is the result of an exhaustive development process aimed at delivering the ultimate in both comfort and control. Designed, developed and tested entirely in-house by ARB’s team of Old Man Emu ride engineers, BP-51 shock absorbers are vehicle-specific and utilize existing mounting locations to provide easy installation without the need for additional vehicle modification. Unlike most other adjustable shock absorbers, which provide adjustment for compression only, the BP-51 range allows on-vehicle, independent adjustability of both rebound and compression to offer class-leading ride customization that can be tailored to an individual vehicle or trip requirements.

Owners of pick-up trucks know firsthand how harsh the ride can be in their unloaded trucks. Heck, even with a considerable load in the bed, the ride is still not exactly luxurious. Sulastic Rubber Springs to the rescue! The rubber springs from Sulastic are an elastic suspension that reduces (and in many cases completely removes) the vibration and shock caused by the leaf spring suspension, improving safety and overall handling of the vehicle. Sulastic rubber springs are designed for the specific spring rate, damping, and spring speed of each make and model of truck to improve ride quality. Shock absorbers designed for the Chevy Trail Boss Silverado 1500 feature multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-1.1 inches of front lift with OE springs (depending on application). These monotube shock absorbers have a 46mm digressive piston a with self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting.  Bilstein 5100 shock absorbers provide increased wheel travel and improved handling. Utilizing a B8 5100 shock absorber is the easiest way to level out your vehicle.

Deaver Progressive Series springs are high quality 9-leaf and 10-leaf units fabricated with high grade 5160 “American Made” steel. A higher leaf count spring allows the use of thinner leaf material that yields a more flexible progressive leaf stack, or pyramid, producing a much smoother spring rate curve throughout the complete suspension cycle. The even, linear compression rate curve of our progressive system spring is the primary key to excellent ride quality. Other designs features include full military-wrapped spring eyes for superior durability, diamond cut inner leaf ends minimizing shear points and anti-friction pads inserted between the leafs for a smoother ride and quiet operation. Combined with properly valved shock absorbents, the ride is enhanced beyond belief.
