Truxedo was founded in 2000 by a group of entrepreneurs in Madison, South Dakota who saw an opportunity to create high-quality, easy-to-use truck bed covers. At that time, most covers on the market were vinyl snap covers that didn’t provide much protection or style. The founders of Truxedo set out to build a better truck bed cover – one that would keep cargo secure and protected from the elements while also enhancing the look of the truck. After months of research, development and testing, the first Truxedo roll-up tonneau cover hit the market in 2001. Today, Truxedo offers the most comprehensive line of tonneau covers available from any manufacturer. And we remain committed to developing innovative new products to meet the changing needs of truck owners. Over 300 employees in the USA and Canada work continuously to build on our two-decade legacy of truck bed cover excellence.
