| Description | | The new BP-51 range of high performance, bypass shock absorbers is the result of an exhaustive development process aimed at delivering the ultimate in both comfort and control. Designed, developed and tested entirely in-house by ARB’s team of Old Man Emu ride engineers, BP-51 shock absorbers are vehicle-specific and utilize existing mounting locations to provide easy installation without the need for additional vehicle modification. Unlike most other adjustable shock absorbers, which provide adjustment for compression only, the BP-51 range allows on-vehicle, independent adjustability of both rebound and compression to offer class-leading ride customisation that can be tailored to an individual vehicle or trip requirements.

- PIGGY BACK CLAMP - Remote reservoir piggy back clamp allows easy connection of the remote oil reservoir to the main shock absorber body.
- SHOCK ABSORBER BODY - 51mm bore, 6061 grade aluminum shock absorber body with type III, hard anodized finish for increased heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
- ADJUSTOR - External, independent rebound and compression adjustment allows fine tuning of ride comfort and control to suit varying vehicle and trip requirements.
- PISTON SHAFT - Hard chromed, ground piston shaft for the ultimate in strength and durability.
- SHAFT GUARD - Replaceable, impact resistant, high-density polyethylene shaft guard prevents damage to the shock absorber shaft from stones and other debris.
- BUSHINGS - Quality oversized rubber bushings result in excellent longevity.

- Reinforces weak factory alignment cam tab plates that bend during bottom outs or hard front impacts.
- CNC laser cut 1/8" 4130 chromoly replacement cam plates weld-to the frame.
- 1/4" thick lower alignment cam tabs will not bend like factory tabs.
- Welding and grinding are required for installation.

- Upper and lower links are constructed from 1 1/2" .188 wall 4130 chromoly tubing for maximum strength and feature massive 1.250” chromoly heim joints.
- Panhard bar is constructed from 1 1/4” .250 wall 4130 chromoly tubing for maximum strength and uses 7/8” chromoly heims.
- Upper, lower and pan hard bars are designed to incorporate a heim joint making the entire rear link system length adjustable
- Includes greasable urethane pivot bushings.
- Capable of more wheel travel with custom shocks and mounts.
- Hi-misalignment spacers included, re-uses factory mounting hardware.

- 1" I.D. uniballs feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity. These uniball’s also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.
