The AVM heavy-duty hubs have been designed for additional strength using a heat-treated carbon steel drive ring instead of the standard cast steel ring fitted in the standard AVM hubs.

The drive ring in the standard AVM hubs is made from cast steel, and for this reason, this is the weakest part of these hubs.

The heavy-duty hubs are ideal for vehicles fitted with front diff locks prone to breaking the standard cast ring AVM hubs.

AVM’s heavy-duty hubs have been designed to strengthen this weak point in the drive line when the diff locks are used.

Be aware of the eBay fakes – Genuine hubs have an aluminium outer body, while the fake hubs have a very shiny (chrome appearance) plastic outer body.
